Indiana vs. Atlanta

In Game 4, Paul George was again the primary defender responsible for keeping Jeff Teague in check. While Teague was efficient when matched up with George, he was relatively inactive. In less than half the time matched up versus Pacer point guards, Teague scored the same amount of points.

Paul George continues to be shadowed by DeMarre Carroll. Carroll matched up with George for 72% of the time George was in the half-court. George shot 4-for-9 and 1-for-2 from three versus Carroll, good for nine of his points.

Ian Mahinmi has been a positive defensive contributor in the playoffs thus far but really struggled against Millsap in Game 4. Millsap went 5-of-6 and 2-of-3 from three when guarded by Mahinmi, scoring 15 points. Hibbert fared much better, holding Millsap to 2-of-7 shooting and 1-of-2 from three.


San Antonio vs. Dallas

In Kawhi Leonard's efficient Game 3 versus the Mavericks he attacked multiple defenders efficiently.

Duncan was primarily shadowed by Dalembert throughout the game. 75% of the time Dalembert was playing half-court defense he checked Duncan. On 23 touches, Duncan went 4-for-8 from the floor and scored eight points.

Shawn Marion spent significant time guarding Tony Parker in Game 4 with 51% of his defensive minutes against Parker. Parker did find success with dribble penetration, recording eight drives against Marion but only went 3-of-6 from the floor.

Leonard and Ginobili split time guarding Monta Ellis in Game 4.
