Don't Sleep on Jarrett Jack

By Brian Martin

Let's get this out of the way right off the bat -- Stephen Curry is playing out of his mind right now. The shooting display he has put on over the past three games to pull the Warriors within a game of advancing to the Western Conference Semifinals has been remarkable.

Over the past three games, he's shooting 55.4 percent from the field (32-of-56), he's made half of his 28 3-point attempts and he hasn't missed a free throw in 14 attempts. He's averaged 30 points in the Warriors' wins and is the fourth-leading scorer in the playoffs at 27.4 points per game.

But as so much as been made of his incredible shooting -- and rightfully so -- it has been overlooked that's Curry's actually leading the league in assists during the playoffs at 10.0 per game. In the last three games, Curry has 31 assists and only six turnovers for an incredible 5.17 assist/turnover ratio.

As good as Curry has been, he's had some help along the way. After losing All-Star David Lee to a hip injury suffered during Game 1 of the series, the Warriors have had players step up to help fill the void. Warriors coach Mark Jackson inserted Jarrett Jack into starting lineup in Lee's place, and Jack has not disappointed.
